Jason Whitman Headshot

Jason Whitman DPT

Dr. Jason Whitman received a doctorate in physical therapy from USC, the number one ranked physical therapy program in the nation. He grew up in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles, where he attended Loyola High School. After high school, Jason decided to stay in Los Angeles and attend Loyola Marymount University where he received a Bachelors degree in Science for Pre-Physical Therapy with honors. While at LMU, Jason had the unique opportunity of working as an athletic trainer for the Dallas Cowboys. Since graduating from USC with a doctoral degree, Jason has worked at various outpatient orthopedic clinics where he has gained valuable experience. Jason excels in all aspects of manual therapy and exercise. In his free time, Jason is an avid outdoorsman and participates in many different sports and training activities.

Jennifer Rivas-Guillen DPT

Dr. Jennifer Rivas received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley where she attended Reseda High School. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy from Whittier College. Throughout her four years at Whittier, she ran cross country and track & field. While at Whittier she participated in numerous intramural sports, clubs and honor societies. She also worked in the athletic training room as a student athletic trainer and interned with the Los Angeles Sparks under the supervision of director of sports medicine and head athletic trainer. Following this experience, she was accepted and completed a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the number one ranked PT program in the nation, USC. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, hiking, running and going to the beach.

Jen Venegas

Jennifer Venegas DPT, OCS

Dr. Jennifer Venegas graduated from University of Southern California with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After physical therapy school, she was accepted into USC’s prestigious Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. During this residency she taught first year doctorate students, participating in research for foot and ankle pathologies along with being able to work alongside surgeons at the Kerlan Jobe Santa Monica Orthopedic Group. Jennifer is a licensed and board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She currently teaches first year students as a faculty member at USC DPT program along with working at Positive PT. Jennifer grew up in the San Fernando Valley where she attended Birmingham High School and completed her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge. Jennifer enjoys going to sporting events, running, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Connor Locke

Connor Locke DPT

Dr. Connor Locke received his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of California San Francisco and San Francisco State University. He grew up just across the bay near Oakland, CA where he developed a love for sports and the outdoors. He completed his first two years of undergrad at Cal State East Bay before transferring to Westmont College in Santa Barbara to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Prior to becoming a physical therapist he took on multiple roles in the healthcare and fitness industries including working alongside a pain management doctor and spending time as a personal trainer. These opportunities gave him experience working with people from varying backgrounds at different levels of health and wellness. They also fueled his passion for continuing to gain knowledge and skills with the purpose of helping people move and feel better.

Connor enjoyed his time in San Francisco during PT school learning from highly respected professors and exploring the city with his peers. He misses the Bay Area, but has loved his time in SoCal, especially looking for new food spots and going to the beach. In his leisure time he likes to cook, work out, and dabble in anything active from hiking to skateboarding to basketball and more.

Sabir Greenwell

Sabir Greenwell DPT, OCS

Dr. Sabir Greenwell received his doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC. He later completed his residency at USC in orthopedics where he treated mainly complex patients with a wide range of diagnoses. During his residency he was able to teach in USC’s DPT program and continues to do so to this day.

Sabir is an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS). He is originally from San Diego and graduated undergraduate school from UC Irvine with a degree in biological sciences. In his down time he enjoys keeping up to date on current research in the field, spending time with his wife, trying new arts and crafts, playing tennis, and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Joshua Kim DPT

Dr. Joshua Kim received his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California. He made the cross-town rivalry switch over to USC from the University of California Los Angeles where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology. While at UCLA, he had the unique opportunity to work as a student athletic trainer for the women’s indoor and beach volleyball team, as well as the baseball team. Prior to attending UCLA for undergrad, Josh grew up south of the Bay Area in lovely San Jose, CA, where he was first introduced to physical therapy from the various injuries sustained from playing volleyball and basketball year-round. Since then, he has fallen in love with the sport of golf, which led him to become certified through the Titleist Performance Institute as a Medical Provider, which is used to assess a player’s swing characteristics based off a physical readiness screen. In his free time, he loves working on his golf game, volunteering in any capacity, watching (and trying to play) any and all sports, spending time at the beach and trying new restaurants in Los Angeles.
